120 mm/46 (4.7") TAK120
Updated 18 November 2006

A fully-automatic weapon intended for large Fast Attack Craft (FAC).  Developed on a private-venture basis from an anti-aircraft field gun.

Uses a water-cooled barrel with a replaceable liner and a vertical-sliding breech block, which opens downward during recoil.  The gun feeds alternatively from two magazines, one on each side of the barrel.  Each of these magazines holds five rounds.  This arrangement allows for two different kinds of ammunition to be loaded so that the gun can be immediately switched between ammunition types.

The automatic loader uses a spring-powered rammer, which is cocked by the recoil forces.
